Thank you for your interest in Smash Academy! We think what you have in your application is a fantastic start. That being said, we'd like to request some additional elaboration on Midna's personality. You do make a wonderful point about Midna's change in character and composure near the end of the game, however, it's worthy to note that her actual evolution as an individual starts prior to that, and with Zelda's direct influence. We'd like to see further exploration into how Zelda affects Midna as a person. (See Act IV, regarding Midna's weakened state and Zelda's act of 'saving' her.)

In addition, we feel your third-person sample reflects Midna's voice better than your first and we would like for you to write another first-person sample. Take into account Midna's tone. Although she primarily carries on conversation with Link, you have some leeway as to how she would interact with other people. Consider that she often holds a playfully condescending demeanour.

Again, this application has a great deal of potential and is very good, but we'd like it to be a bit more polished, with appropriate character traits brought front and centre. Please feel free to contact the mods if you have any additional questions about what we're looking for.
