APPLICATIONS FOR THE CURRENT WEEK ARE REVIEWED FRIDAYS.

UNLESS THERE IS A DELAY... which we'll typically announce. There are no application cycles in Smash! Send in applications whenever you want.
Note: We do not review apps in chronological order, but last-minute applications submitted at the buttcrack of midnight Friday might not get reviewed until the following week, so please be patient.

If you want to make sure no one else apps the character you are thinking of, head on over to the reserves first.

Before you apply or hit "post"...

Read our rules. Acceptable Series, FAQ and Premise couldn't hurt either.

Take a look at our application guidelines! This outlines what we expect in an application, and gives some inspiration and pointers if you're having trouble!

Look at the taken list to make sure the character you want isn't already taken.

Copy and use the application form that fits your character, whether they are returning, getting an update, or are brand new.

Spell check, spell check, spell check.

You may post a link to your application or post it in comment chunks. DW has a maximum character limit of 16,000 per comment, so that's quite generous and you'll probably be able to fit your app in just one or two comments! Here is a handy character count checker to see if that's the case.

You may rehash old applications or samples so long as YOU are the one that wrote them. We may ask for a new, more setting-applicable sample, or if we are unclear on the character's voice/personality, however. If you plagiarize, you will be banned.

Pokemon are allowed only two per player, and no more than three of the same kind at the same time.

DAMMIT, he should have realized. Not enough cards to do a proper summon, he waved goodbye to the residents of the velvet room, pondering just where he could go to fight some more demons. Was there a place in Smash where he could at least find some? Tch, how annoying.

As he stepped out of the blue door, he took a few steps before starring in mute horror, blinking slowly. Wait a minute...he knew this place had a tea store a few minutes ago, why was it now a coffee shop? He looked down, giving himself a reassuring pat and sure enough, he looked the same (amazing and beautiful as ever). There was still snow too...had he stepped into some sort of dimensional portal into another....other different world?

Argh! This was infuriating! He shouldn't be this confused. With a huff, he began to run a hand in his hair, before breaking into a run to get back to school. Well for all of five minutes because he felt the sweat start to drip down. Nope, he was going to take the bus there, thank you very much.

It was only when he got to the school and looked at the calendar did he realize something was truly, truly wrong...

Additional Note: While Eikichi and Nanjo are both from the Persona 2 dualogy, they are not only from two entirely different games, but from completely different universes; Innocent Sin takes place in one, the world ends and then a new world is creating at the cost of everyone's memories in the process, and Eternal Punishment happens in that other. For this reason, and because Nanjo knows that Eikichi can't be told any of those things, he will be avoiding him (aka they will not be interacting, or causing munsterbation). I have played both of them at the same time in another game, and there wasn't any issues!
