APPLICATIONS FOR THE CURRENT WEEK ARE REVIEWED FRIDAYS.
UNLESS THERE IS A DELAY... which we'll typically announce. There are no application cycles in Smash! Send in applications whenever you want.Note: We do not review apps in chronological order, but last-minute applications submitted at the buttcrack of midnight Friday might not get reviewed until the following week, so please be patient.
If you want to make sure no one else apps the character you are thinking of, head on over to the reserves first.
Before you apply or hit "post"...
- Read our rules. Acceptable Series, FAQ and Premise couldn't hurt either.
- Take a look at our application guidelines! This outlines what we expect in an application, and gives some inspiration and pointers if you're having trouble!
- Look at the taken list to make sure the character you want isn't already taken.
- Copy and use the application form that fits your character, whether they are returning, getting an update, or are brand new.
- Spell check, spell check, spell check.
- You may post a link to your application or post it in comment chunks. DW has a maximum character limit of 16,000 per comment, so that's quite generous and you'll probably be able to fit your app in just one or two comments! Here is a handy character count checker to see if that's the case.
- You may rehash old applications or samples so long as YOU are the one that wrote them. We may ask for a new, more setting-applicable sample, or if we are unclear on the character's voice/personality, however. If you plagiarize, you will be banned.
- Pokemon are allowed only two per player, and no more than three of the same kind at the same time.

Before you fill this out, and especially if you want to do a complete Character Relationship reboot, remember to talk with your canonmates! Fill this as soon as you can so we know everyone's canon standings, and any extra information that might be needed.
As always, everything will be taken on a case-to-case basis!

Grade Level/Class Taught/Job: He's still the janitor.
Dorm or Living Arrangement: Still living with Desmond.
Personality Changes (ie, some characters grow are are different based on where they are taken from. Please list any differences there might be compared to where they were taken before): There's really no difference, the canon update is just for experience purposes. But no real change is done to Connor's character.
History Changes (If any):
Connor would awaken in his manor, with no time having being passed since he left.
Of course, it was easy to adapt to life again, despite Connor feeling that leaving was premature. Incredibly. Putting it lightly.
Basically for Connor, a few months would have passed when he was only gone in Smash time for about three weeks. Business was usual. Connor spoke with Washington one night and after an awkward talks about dreams, Connor was transported into an alternate universe. Connor was never an Assassin in this universe, and his mother never died. But Washington became a tyrannical king who took the Apple for himself and became corrupt, burning down his village and killing his mom (yes, he did see him mom die twice by this point). His people drank drugged Red Willow Tea to make them fight stronger by having them be one with the "animal spirits".
His mother told him "no", but a confused Connor wanted to make sense of this world and had to stop Washington, so he drank the tea.
Three times, he felt the power of the wolf, eagle, and the bear. He was stronger, and he...enjoyed it.
He would have seen others under control of Washington and the Apple, and even reunited with his friend (who was also dead) after getting captured by one of Washington's men (Putnam). But he soon died as well.
After a long fight on ships, through Boston and New York, working with the rebels against Washington led by Thomas Jefferson, and storming Washington's fortress (which was basically a giant pyramid), Connor finally would have slain Washington using his Willow Tea powers.
He went to grab the Apple, and the power...did tempt him at some points, and it tried to then. But he rejected it completely, keeping true to himself, returning to the real world after touching it. Washington rejected it as well, ordering Connor to sink it to the bottom of the sea.
Connor did that gladly, feeling contempt for the Apple, as no one should be able to wield such poisonous power.
He would have returned home, slept, and awaken back at the academy again. Now with a story to tell, as if the place let him experience this just to be able to share it.
